Trouble Shooting Steps for Windows :

1. Getting Shop not found 404 error in web print tool?
A : The shop name indicates the domain name, open the print tool and enter your domain name and click on proceed to enter your login credentials

2. How to set the Paper size in print tool?
A : Login to Web print tool, click on settings-->Choose the paper size from drop down and save. 


3. How will you verify the alignment of the printer connected?
A : To verify the alignment check the print preview. To see the preview disable the option 'Enable silent print' from the user screen. Go to Settings->Users and Permissions->Users. For the particular user disable the silent print option under configurations and save. Next print a receipt. Click on more settings to align the scale, margin and paper size in the print preview.

Note : The paper settings can also be done from Printer preference, 
  • Go to Device and printers-->right click on the printer driver which is mapped-->choose printer preferences
  • Click on the advanced settings-->Choose the paper size from the drop down as (80*297)-->Apply and save


4. How to perform the kitchen setup and map printers in Print tool?
A : Create the Kitchen from kitchen setup-->Masters, add the categories to the kitchens created as per your requirement. Then login to print tool, click on settings and map the desired printer to the kitchen listing



5. Can we get print if print tool is not installed or running in the device?
A : If the silent printing from the users is marked as 'NO' you will get the print directly from the browser. In case the if it is marked as 'Yes', then print tool is mandatory to be installed and running in the device logged in to get the prints

6. How to uninstall the webprint tool from a system ?
A : Right click on the print tool icon from the desktop, choose the Open file location-->select the folder '_uninst'-->Run the application exe. Thus uninstall the print tool from the device

7. If i wanted to remove the KOT print for my sales, what should be done?
A : If you wanted to remove the KOT print from Sales, thus can be removed based on order types, Go to settings-->Taxes-->Order types-->Disable the require KOT print and Save. Thus removes the KOT print from sales screen.



8. What will be the checklist if you get the following error messages in web print tool - 'Appologies Val','404 shop not found','Navigation not found','User isn't mapped to the print tool' ?
  • 'Appologies Val' - Try to reset the configuration in print tool and try login again or reinstall the web print tool
  • '404 shop not found' & 'Navigation not found' - Thus indicates that the domain name is entered is incorrect or isn't not valid. Click on Reset and enter the domain name as shop name and login to print tool
  • User isn't mapped to print tool - Make sure that the user logged into servquick is same user credentials is mapped in print tool.If there is difference thus error occurs 
9. What are all the checklist will you follow initially if customer reports that unable to get print?
  • Make sure that the print tool is installed and running in device
  • Try a test print from notepad, to check whether the printer is working fine
  • Verify whether the exact printer is mapped in print tool to get the print
  • Verify whether the receipt print and KOT print is enabled for the specific order type 
  • Verify whether the pause print is given for the printer from device and printer settings
10.  What is difference between "Disable cloud printing" and "Enable Silent Printing" ?
A : Disable cloud print - This helps to get the print from the cloud and keeps the back of the same
Enable silent print - This helps to avoid of getting preview of the print, and gets print directly from the print tool. Thus helps in time consume during sales.

Trouble Shooting Steps in Mac for Web Print tool :

1. Unable to open web print tool in mac book, thus might be read only permission. To over come this please use the below command in terminal.
Step 1 : Go to Programs and open Terminal
Step 2 : cd Desktop/Servquick_web_print/osx64/Servquick_web_print.app/Contents/MacOS/sudo ./nwjs
Step 3 : Try now by resetting the print tool and login with your servquick login credentials
