How to do year end process in AccountsEasy?


 

Year Begin Process for Accounts (2025-2026)

This document provides step-by-step instructions to complete the Year Begin process in the AccountsEasy application.

Step 1: Open the Server Application

  1. After opening the application, navigate to:
    Accounts → GOFRUGAL AccountsEasy.

  2. Step 2: Access the Year-End Process

  1. In the AccountsEasy application, make sure the Financial Year is set to 2025-2026.

  2. Click on Process → YearEnd Process.


Step 3: Verify Financial Year Details

  1. In the Yearend Process pop-up window, ensure that:

    • The Current Financial Year is 2024-2025.

    • The New Financial Year is set to 2025-2026.

  2. Based on your needs, enable or disable the checkboxes.

  3. Note: If you select the LOCK LAST YEAR DATA AFTER YEAR END PROCESS,  you will not be able to modify old data

  4. Click on "Yearend" to proceed.


Note:

  • Before proceeding, ensure that all Client machines are closed to avoid any conflicts during the Year-End process.


Step 4: Confirm Year-End Process

  1. Click on "OK" to confirm and proceed.

  2. year-end-last


Step 5: Verify the Year Begin Completion

  1. After completing the Year-End process, verify that the new Financial Year is now set to 2025-2026.
