Concept of Conversion Master and its usage in HQ.

Conversion is used to convert from one unit to another, like from Pieces to Box, from Pieces to Cartoon etc.

 

Benefit:

Suppose you purchase items in Box or Cartoons and Want to sell in Pieces or in Box/ cartoon or transfer the items into different units you want. This Conversion option will help you do that.

 

Please follow the steps to setup the Conversion Master.

Step 1: Go to MDM > Conversion Master > Item Conversion Master


 

Step 2: Click on Add to add a new conversion or click on Edit to update an old conversion master.

 

 

 

Step 3: Put the conversion name and click on Add Item to add items and put the details.

 

 

Step 4: Select the Attribute Type as ALL to do all types of transactions from the list.


 

Step 5: Click on Save button to save the settings.

 

 

To update the Item Conversion Price in Bulk do the following:

Step 1: Go to MDM > Conversion Master > Item Conversion Price Bulk Update.

 

 

Step 2: Select the desired outlet from the list.

 

 

Step 3: Select the Desired items from the list and click on Apply.


 

Note:
You will see all the conversions associated with the items.

 

 

Step 4: Click on the CSV Filter to bring up the Import CSV to filter Data windows and click on the Download Template button to download the template file.


 

Step 5: Prepare the template along with price and save the same.

 

 

Step 6: Browse the date and click on Open to load the data.


 

Step 7: Click on the Import button to import the data.

 

 

Step 8: Check the loaded data and click on Save & Send.


 

To see the Conversion List, follow the steps:

Step 1: Go to MDM > Conversion Master > Conversion List

 

 

You can see the report with all the conversions.

 

Conclusion:
Using the Conversion options, we can easily manage our Purchase, Sales, Transfer Ours and Purchase returns with different Conversion types.
