Reason Master [HQ]

The Reason Master feature in GoFrugal HQ allows you to create your own reasons in addition to the default options available in the system. Follow the steps below to create your customized reason master in HQ and use it in the POS.

  1. Navigate to MDM > Reason Master.

  1. Click the Add button.

Note: You will be able to view all the existing reason masters here.

 

  1. Click the Reason Type dropdown and select the desired option from the list.

The list is as follows:

  • Indent - Create a reason master for Indents.

  • Reason - Create reason masters for POS.

  • Delivery Cancel - Create a reason master for the Godeliver app.

  • Delivery Reschedule - Create a reason master for the Godeliver app.

Let's take the reason type as Reason.

  1. Take the transaction type as Wastage.

Note: Below are the available options in the transaction type dropdown for which we can create reasons.

  • Delivery return

  • KOT

  • Purchase return

  • Sales

  • Sales return

  • Transfer Out

  • Wastage

  • Stock Updation Master

  • Sales Order

  1. Put the desired reason code. Here, we have given Broke as an example.

  2. Put the desired reason description. Here, we have given Broke by mistake.

  3. Set the status as Active, then click the Save button.

Note: Check the newly added reason master on the reason master screen.

  1. Click the Send to Outlet button to send the newly created reason master.

Next, let's verify in the outlet whether the reason master has been added.

  1. Receive the reason master from Nettrade as usual.

  2. Open the branch POS and navigate to Inventory > Masters > Reason Code Master.

  1. Click the F5 View button and verify the reason code master from the list.

  1. Navigate to Inventory > Wastage.

  1. Press the enter button and select the wastage type from the list. Here we have used wastage as an example.

  1. Take items on the screens and select the reason from the List of Reasons screen.

  1. Click the F6 Save button.
