Barcode Printing

Purpose of Barcode Printing

Barcode printing is used to generate and label products, materials, or documents with unique, scannable identification codes. These barcodes store information such as product codes, prices, batch numbers, or inventory details, allowing for fast, accurate, and automated data entry during business operations.

Usage of Barcode Printing

Barcode printing is commonly used in various business functions, including:

  • Inventory Management:
To track stock movement, item counts, and locations efficiently.

  • Sales and Billing:
At the point of sale (POS), barcodes are scanned to quickly fetch product details and pricing, reducing billing time and human errors.

  • Warehouse and Logistics:
For identifying and tracking goods during receiving, picking, packing, and shipping processes.

  • Manufacturing:
To label raw materials, semi-finished, and finished goods for production tracking.

  • Asset Management:
For labeling company assets such as equipment, tools, or IT hardware to maintain accurate asset records.
