Concept of Conversion and its usage in Retail Easy - Part III - Conversion in Sales Module: Selling Rate from the Conversion Master.
This feature is used by people who want to set separate rates for the Box and for the Pieces. For example, store owner wants to sell 20-20 BTR BISCUIT 200G this item for 30 Rs per piece but in case of 20 Pieces Box, the rate of the Box will be 500Rs, that means the per item cost will become 25Rs.
Step1: Go to Tools > Configurations > Configurations
Step2: Locate "Apply Selling rate from conversion master" and put a Tick ✔ and click on Save to apply the settings.
Setp1: Go to Sales > Sales Bill
Step2: Take the item 20-20 BTR BISCUIT 45G and put the desired Qty. Check the rate = 30 before applying the Conversion.
Step3: Press Alt + Shift + F12 [Conversion] buttons together to bring up the UOM/Conversion LOV.
Step4: Select the BOX option from the UOM/Conversion LOV and press enter.
Check the Rate changed to 25 and the amount as 500.
Again, take 20-20 BTR BISCUIT 45G and see the rate as 30 here.
Again, press Alt + Shift + F12 [Conversion] buttons together to bring up the UOM/Conversion LOV. Then select the CARTOON option from the UOM/Conversion LOV and press enter.
Check the UOM:CARTOON (100) under the item description and the Amount became 3000 (100x30)
