1. Brief the purpose of Material issue/Receipt
'Material Issue' is used to enter the raw material details issued to the supplier. 'Material Receipt' is used to enter the details of the finished products received from the supplier.

2. How can I calculate the cost of the finished products?
You have to manually calculate the landing cost of the finished product from the landing cost of the raw materials and the making charges of the finished product. Based on the landing cost, you can set your own selling price and MRP.

3. How can I make the material receipt if only partial items are received?
There is no provision to make partial entries. You have to enter the details of all the items received.

4. Can I convert multiple issues into a single receipt?
No, you can make one receipt from one issue only.

5. How can I know the status of the received material?
You can know the status from the following reports-
  1. Material Issue Summary [Report ID: 3105]
  2. Material Issue Detail [Report ID: 3106]
  3. Material receipt Details [Report ID: 3365]
