1. What are the distinctive features of price level formula?
2. Will the values from Price Level Master be loaded in the Price level formula?
No. You have to enter the values manually for the price levels.
3. Can I map this price level formula to customers?
No. You can not map Price Level formula to customers, it can be mapped for items.
4. How can I set Price Level Formula as default price levels for all customers?
Enable the configuration: Tools >> Configuration >> Inventory >> Price level setting >> Enable default price levels.
If the configuration is not enabled, the default price level is not applied. You need to apply the price level using the price level key.
5. What is the advantage of price level formula vs items?
With Price level formula screen, you can configure the price levels and you need to map the formula to each item separately in the item Master. But, with Price level formula vs items, you can map any number of items to a single formula in the same screen.
In the billing screen, when you load that items, the default price levels are automatically applied. In case, you want to change the price level, you can do so by invoking SHIFT + F2 key.
6. Can I delete any item that is mapped before the time period gets over?
No. The items once mapped and saved can not be deleted.
7. In Purchase formula vs items, when single formula is mapped for different items is it possible to set different time period for those items using the same formula?
No. For one formula, one time period can be set.
8. Can I map different formulae for a single item?
No. An item mapped to a formula will not be listed again for mapping to another formula.
9. Can I map an item both in 'Price Level Vs Items' and in 'Price Level Formula Vs Items'?
An item can be mapped either in 'price level vs items' or in 'price level formula vs items' and not under the both. An item configured in 'Price Level Vs Items' will not be listed in the item LOV of 'Price Level Formula Vs Items' screen and vice-versa.
