FAQs - Price Level Master

1. What is Price Level Master?
Price Level Master is used to create new price levels. By default, three price levels - Seasonal, Whole sale and Semi-whole sale are provided. All price levels created in Price Level Master will be applied to all the items in the billing screen.

2. What is the Base price level?
The price levels created in Price level master will work as a tree structure wherein out of 25 price levels, 24 price levels depend on a main price level called the BASE price level. Base field
  1. The Base field is applicable only for base price level. You need not use this field while creating other price levels as all other price levels consider the value for Base mapped in the Base price level.
  2. Selecting 'Yes' activates the BASE price level and works as the parent price level.
  3. Selecting 'No' de-activates the BASE price level and will not work as the BASE. Select 'NO' option for other price levels which depend on BASE price level.
  4. At a time, only one BASE can be activated. If you select 'Yes' for any other price level, this price level will become the BASE for other price levels and the previous BASE will get deactivated.

Based On field

Based on is another mandatory field for BASE price level. If you have mapped 'Selling Price' in BASE, all price levels work considering the Selling Price in BASE price level. You need not select any option in the 'Based on' field for other price levels.
