Sales Quotations are created to provide a prospect with an estimate of his purchase. They can often be created at one point in time but printed later based on the customer's requirements. RetailEasy on-cloud has the feature to cancel the Sales Quotation if it turns invalid after a period. A Sales Quotation can be cancelled only before it is converted to a Sales Order or a Sales Bill. The status of a Sales Quotation can be checked in the Reports section of RetailEasy on-cloud.

How to Cancel a Sales Quotation?

Note: A cancelled Sales Quotation cannot be restored

Step 1: In the main tab of RetailEasy on-cloud, click on Sales > Sales Quotation

Step 2: In the Sales Quotation screen, press and hold Ctrl and click on Cancel or press the corresponding function key (F3 by default) to get the Quotation Details pop-up

Step 3: From the Quotation Details pop-up, select the Quotation that you'd want to Cancel and press Enter

Step 4: The selected Quotation will be loaded to the Quotation [CANCEL] screen

Step 5: Click on Save or press the corresponding function key (F6 by default) to Cancel. The Additional Info pop-up appears for remarks, type in the details for the cancellation and click Ok

Step 6: Click on Save at the bottom of the screen to confirm cancellation and the Quotation will be cancelled

An invalid Sales Quotation can be cancelled to avoid a disarray of valid and invalid Sales Quotations.
