How to map printer for transaction in RetailEasy7?

Purpose of mapping printer for transaction in RetailEasy7:

Using this option, you can map different printers to transactions such as Bill, delivery note, sales return, purchase return, and stock transfer so that you can preview older bills as well as generate them according to your printer.

 

Benefits of mapping different printers for transactions:

The benefits of mapping different printers for transactions are,

  • A printer that has ink issues or has a strike while printing can easily be switched to another printer.

  • Bills often require different paper sizes or printer configurations. At that time, it is convenient to switch printers and easily get the output.

A Guide to map printer for transaction in RetailEasy7:

Step 1: Navigate through Sales -> Reprint.

 

 

 

Step 2: Enter the transaction type and the details of the bill in the filter to generate a bill for mapping to the printer.

 

 


Step 3: Choose the printer for printing from the list of printers connected to the system and click Apply.

 


Note: If your printer is not listed in the printer section, there may be a connection problem. You may also need to test print to troubleshoot the printer.

 

In this way, it is easy to map different printers for different bills at any-time or even on saved bills.
