How to map Barcode Printer?

Purpose of Barcode Printer:

The barcode printer creates an identification code containing price, size, and quantity for individual product, making billing easier by just scanning the barcode.

 

A Guide to Barcode Printer Mapping:

Step 1: Go to Tools -> Configuration -> Device settings.

 

 

 

Step 2: In Device Configuration go to Peripheral settings -> Click on barcode printer.

 

 


Step 3: Enable the barcode printer

 

 


Step 4: Configure your printer connection with your system, by selecting the method of connection in connect using -> down arrow.

 

 


Step 5: Select your barcode printer name by clicking on Printer name -> Down arrow. Then choose your printer from the list.

Step 6: You must click both ok and yes for the changes to take effect.

 

 

Barcode scans are fast, reliable, and takes less time to complete the billing process than entering data by category and generating invoices.
