How to request for a new app development from integration portal?

Now along with the in MyGofrugal app, in the OrderEasy menu, you can also raise a new app development request from the integration portal.

Steps to request for new app development from the integration portal.
(for new OrderEasy users)

Step 1:

Login into the integration portal -> Click on ‘Mobile App’ from the left menu panel -> click on ‘App Builder’.



In the ‘App Builder’ home screen -> under the ‘Personalization’ tab -> fill in all the necessary details.



1) App Name: Type in the desired name of your app.
2) Package Name: This is a non-editable, auto-filled field that reflects your app’s domain link.
3) App Icon: Here you can click on ‘Choose file to upload’ -> browse & select your app logo from the local storage.



Pre-requisites for App logo: 
1) Your app logo must of ‘JPEG’ format only.
2) The resolution of the app logo image must be ‘1024x1024’ only.

4) Select the Primary Color & Secondary Color for your App.
Click on the color blocks to see your choices & select one.





5) Short Description & Long Description: Here you can type in your business description to attract customers to know more about your brand, services, and offerings and download the app. The same will be displayed in the Playstore/App store to your customers.



Note: The character limit for Short Description is 80 & for the Long Description it is 4000.

6) Select App platform: Here you can enable the check box of the platform for which you want to request the app development. You can choose either or both as per your requirement.

In-case if you are requesting only for an Android app.


In-case if you are requesting only for an iOS app.


In-case if you are requesting apps for both platforms.


Note: The Logo & Color changes can be instantly experienced in the preview section on the right side.

After providing all the necessary information click on the Save button at the bottom.

Step 2:

Now click on the 'Platform Configuration' tab and you'll find two options in it.



1) Android:



i) Android account mail id: Enter the email id from which the play store console is purchased. (Playstore Account)
ii) Google service account JSON: Click on 'Choose File', browse & locate the JSON file from your local drive.


iii) Need to track app analytics using Firebase?: Check this box if you want to track the performance and analytics of your app using Google/Firebase analytics.
iv) Google analytics file: Only If the above checkbox is checked, this option will be visible. Click on 'Choose File', browse & locate the analytics JSON file from your local drive.



After providing all the necessary information click on the Save button at the bottom. Once all the information is saved in this menu, our team will automatically get notified about your request.

2) IOS:


i) Apple ID: Enter your Apple ID in the given textbox.
ii) Team Name: Enter your Apple Team Name. 
iii) Team ID: Enter your Apple Team ID.
iv) Is Individual Account?: Check this box if the Apple ID you are using is a personal account, not a business account.



v) Username & Password: Only If the above checkbox is checked, these options will be visible. Enter your App store credentials in the given textboxes.
vi) I Agree to Privacy Policy: Only If "Is Individual Account?" checkbox is checked, this will appear on the left side of the screen. Please read the policy & check the 'I agree' checkbox.





After providing all the necessary information click on the Save button at the bottom. Once all the information saved in this menu, our team will automatically get notified about your request.

Step 3:

In the 'App Info' tab...



i) APP DETAILS: In this box, you can view the status of your new app build request whether the app is ready & published or not. It's Playstore &/or Appstore link will be displayed.



ii) BUILD DETAILS - Android & BUILD DETAILS - IOS: Here you can view the date & time of the last app update, the current version of your app, & the status of your current app build. 





POINTS TO BE NOTED :

1. If you want to change the color theme and logo of your app. Make the necessary changes on 'Personalization' screen (refer step 1) and then raise an update request to update your app with new logo/color theme.
