Purpose: You can edit the quantity or remove or add any number of items.

Steps to Edit sales bill 

1: Go to Sales-> Sales Bill and click on Edit button F4

2: Load the bill in Edit mode

3 : You can edit the quantity or remove or add any number of items. Once changes done Click on save button.

4: Tender screen will open choose the payment type and click on Ok button

What to do when particular bill is not showing in edit mode?  

• Check whether Sales return is done for the bill

• Check whether the sale bill is cancelled

• Check whether any credit bill adjusted. For Credit bills once the payment is adjusted, it will not be applicable for edit.

• Check whether the IRN has been generated for the respective bill and if IRN has generated then you cannot edit the bill.

• Check whether the Payment mode is done via RRN mode. If the payment is done via RRN, it is not applicable for Edit, since logically it is not a correct process. If you still want to Edit the invoice, Cancel the Sale return done, for which the RRN was raised initially and then try Editing the invoice.

Why is the bill showing in Edit Mode for the Store ID but not for other user IDs?

Reason:
The bill will only be displayed in Edit Mode to the user who created the bill and to Admin users. Other users will not be able to view the bill in Edit Mode. This restriction ensures that only authorized users can edit the bill.
