How to route item to their respective kitchen using Item Classifier?

Item Classifier/Kitchen wise Print Routing

Item Classifier is the feature available in the RPOS6 that helps in grouping the items with Classifier and routing the print's of Order to the respective kitchen printer.

For example:
  • Vegetarian - It comprises of all the vegetarian items,
  • Non-Vegetarian - It comprises of all the non-vegetarian items,
  • Desserts - It comprises of all desserts items and
  • Beverages - It comprises of all drinking items.

Business Scenario
A restaurant has 4 kitchen for Vegetarian, Non-Vegetarian, Desserts and Beverages respectively.
The business person wants to generate the Order Taken/KOT that gets printed in its respective kitchen (Vegetarian, Non-vegetarian, Desserts and Beverages).
      The above the requirements is available in RPOS6 Item Classifier with Print profile. On routing the specific item group to a printer helps in generating the KOT print only to the routed printer in the specified Kitchen.

Features of Classifier Exception
  • The Classifiers Exception is used to display the respective mapped items in different till. It helps in Item Selection. For examples - A business has front counter where only the snacks items are available. In such cases, respective items are mapped with front counter till where snacks items are displayed.
  • The Item Classifiers Exception are displayed in Touch POS and Restaurant Bill Entry.
