Routing Based On Item Classifier/Kitchen Wise Print Routing
The routing process helps in routing based on Item Classifiers/kitchen wise print routing to different printers. It helps in generating the required data based on specific kitchen.
Business Scenario,
A steward takes an Order from a table that includes vegetarian items, non-vegetarian items, desserts and beverages. If an order is sent to the kitchen, then all the Ordered Items gets printed in all four kitchens. Except the concerned items for respective kitchen all other ordered items in the bill print of KOT/Order Taken are of no use.
To avoid this condition, routing helps in configuring the printer in such a way that the specific (vegetarian, non-vegetarian, desserts or beverages) items gets printed in the concerned kitchen only from the lists of all Ordered items .
Prerequisites for Routing the Item Classifier to Printers:
- Valid KOT print Profile - Before routing the Item Classifier with printer, a valid KOT print profile is required in the Print Profile.
The Routing of Item Classifier/ Kitchen Wise Print Routing comprises of the following steps:
