How to map a Item vs Base Sub UOM?
Item vs Base/Sub UOM
Use Item vs Base/Sub UOM screen to map the items against the UOM for multi-item. For e.g. One business has different items (e.g. Sugar and Cake) but with same UOM, such items can be mapped at a time with the help of Item vs Base/Sub UOM screen.
Steps for Item vs Base/Sub UOM -
Note: To track the item that get converted from Unmapped Items to Mapped Items follow the step 1-3 as above and then the following steps -
Use Item vs Base/Sub UOM screen to map the items against the UOM for multi-item. For e.g. One business has different items (e.g. Sugar and Cake) but with same UOM, such items can be mapped at a time with the help of Item vs Base/Sub UOM screen.
Steps for Item vs Base/Sub UOM -
- Click Inventory > Masters > Conversion [UOM] > Item vs Base/Sub UOM.
- The Item vs Base/Sub UOM is displayed.
- In the Item vs Base/Sub UOM section -
- In the Select an Option field, press Delete. Press ENTER, a list of Select Option is displayed. Select from the following options:
- All - to select all items (i.e both mapped and unmapped).
- Mapped Items - to select only mapped items.
- Unmapped Items - to select only unmapped items.
- In the Items List field, select all items or only specific items.
- In the Base UOM field, select the base unit of measurement. For example, KG, LTR etc.
- In the Sub UOM field, select the sub unit of measurement. For example, Grams, ML etc.
- In the Sub UOM Conversion field, enter the units of sub UOM conversion.
- In the Select an Option field, press Delete. Press ENTER, a list of Select Option is displayed. Select from the following options:
- In the Item Details section -
- In the Code field, press ENTER. A list of Select an Item is displayed, select the item from the list.
Note: You can load the items based on Select an Option by clicking the Load or by pressing the F3 key.
- In the Code field, press ENTER. A list of Select an Item is displayed, select the item from the list.
- Click Save or press F6 to save the details.
- A message 'UOM Mapped' is displayed. Click OK.
Note: To track the item that get converted from Unmapped Items to Mapped Items follow the step 1-3 as above and then the following steps -
- In the Select an Option field, select Mapped Items.
- In the Item Details section -
- Click Load or press F3 key to load the mapped items.
- Click Clear or press F7 key to clear the screen.
- Click Close or press F12 key to close the screen.
- A confirmation message is displayed. Click Yes.
