How to map UOM with ingredients of a item in Item master?

Item Master for Ingredient Items
Follow the step to create an Item Master for Ingredient item -
  1. Click Inventory > Master > Item Master or press 'Ctrl + I'.
  2. The Item Master screen is displayed.



  3. In the Stock Information section, please fill the mandatory fields.
    Note: Please fill all the mandatory fields.



  4. In the Packing Details section -
    • In the Preparation Status, press F2 key. A list of Preparation Status screen is displayed, select the followings-
      • Assembly (A) - to map/prepare the assembly items.
      • Kit (K) - to map/prepare the kit items.
    • In the Base UOM field, press F2 key. A list of Base UOM is displayed, select the base UOM.
    • In the Sub UOM field, press F2 key. A list of Sub UOM is displayed, select the sub UOM.
    • In the Sub UOM Conversion field, enter the unit of conversion.
    Example- If base UOM is KG and sub UOM is GRAM then the sub UOM conversion is 1000. As in general 1KG = 1000 GRAM.
  5. Click Save or press F6 key to save the details.
  6. A confirmation message is displayed. Click Yes.
  7. Click Close or press F12 key to exit the screen.
  8. A confirmation message is displayed. Click Yes.
