How to Set MFA status based on the User Preferences?
The MFA Status is available under the 'User profile' (on clicking the username at the right corner) -> 'Personalise' screen.
In this Personalise screen, the user can able to Enable or Disable MFA based on the user preferences.
1.When the user enabled the MFA for their account, in Personalise -> MFA Settings, Disable option will be available (if MFA is not mandated by the Admin).
2.Once the user opts for 'Disable', OTP verification required.
3.When the user Disabled the MFA, the user will have Enable MFA option in MFA Configuration. On clicking 'Enable' the MFA settings screen is routed.

How to Generate Backup Codes?
Backup codes are a set of one-time-use codes that can be used to access your TruePOS Account in case you are unable to use your TOTP method.
Why Backup Codes?
Backup codes play a vital role in various situations, ensuring uninterrupted access to your account in case of phone loss or damage or the scenario where the user unable to login with the TOTP.
Backup codes can be generated after the successful setup of MFA. After setting up MFA for the user and verifying the TOTP, the user will be redirected to the backup code generation page. Upon clicking 'Generate Codes', the backup codes will be downloaded to the system.
After enabling Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), users can download backup codes at any time by clicking 'Generate Codes' under the MFA Configuration tab in the Personalise screen.
