Intro on Payment types
The payment tender is the method by which a payment was received. Delight your customers by accepting multiple tender options like Cash, Credit & Debit Card, Wallets, Coupon Tender, Due Bill, Credit Sales in addition to Split tender (combine two or more tenders for a single bill).
Cash - Cash is the default payment option in Sales Bill screen and the most commonly used mode of payment
To access the Cash payment option, press 'A' or 'a' in the text box and then specify the money in Cash Amount that you received.
Credit - Credit is the default payment option in Sales Order screen.
The Credit option is for saving the cost of goods or services sold to the customer before payment, based on the trust; the Billwise Receivable Note in Finance and Accounts will automatically track the pending or total receivable from the customer who availed stocks on Credit.
To access the Credit payment option, press 'B' or 'b' in the text box and then specify order or bill amount of the stocks.
Note: The Credit option is visible in Sales Bill only for the Customers who can buy goods either on Credit only or Cash and Credit. The payment type for the customers should be mapped as either "Credit only" or "Both cash and credit" in customer master.
Credit Card - The Credit Card payment option is for saving the amount of money that you transacted for payments from Customer in terms of credit card or debit card transaction.
To access the Credit Card payment option, press 'C' or 'c' in the text box and then specify the payments, card number, card name and the approval code.

Note: To credit or debit card number during payment details entry, select the Credit Card Details Mandatory check box in Tools > Config > Business Configuration > Process Outward section.
Note: The Compliment sales information will not be reflected in Finance and Accounts.
To access the Compliment payment option, press 'F' or 'f' and then specify the amount.
Due Bill - Due bill is an amount of money that is owed at a particular time.
To access the Due bill option, Press 'G' or 'g' and enter the due bill amount.
