Sample Management System

Purpose of Sample Management : 

The main Purpose of Sample Management is that when a New Product is launched in the Market we shouldn't directly sell the product to the Customer. Hence the product needs to be tested by the Doctors to check for the Feasibility and all the composition has been mixed in correct ratios. In order to provide the product to Doctors as a sample, we shouldn't treat it as sales and at the same time we should maintain the stock, to do so we use the sample management system.

The Following are the steps to update the product sample management system

Step 1: Go to Inventory -> Stock Transfer -> Outward.

Step 2: Select the Branch name as ‘SAMPLE’ and update the Products and Quantity and Press F2 to save the Entry.

Step 3: Go to Inventory -> Sample Management.

 

Step 4: Select the Sample Issue Type from the Dropdown List.

(Note : Before updating the ‘Issued to Rep’/’Issued to Dr.’ we need to update the ‘Inventory -> Stock Transfer -> Outward’ Entry or Inventory -> Sample Management ->  Received Option from Sample Drop Down.)

Step 5: After Selecting the sample issue type update the REP name and select the product for which we have updated the outward / Received Entry. Then Press F2 to save the Entry.

Step 6: The Sample reports can be viewed in Reports -> Sample Reports -> Sample Issued to Rep
