Purpose:

Unicode Master in TruePOS allows users to print text in multiple languages. This feature is beneficial for businesses operating in multilingual regions, ensuring smooth communication across branches, item labels, and customer details. By enabling Unicode Master, users can configure text elements in their preferred language, improving accessibility and customer engagement.

Steps to Enable Unicode Master  

Step 1: Open Unicode Master Settings  

  1. Open TruePOS and go to the Masters section.

  2. Click More to access additional settings.

  3. Select Tool from the options.

  4. Click on Unicode Master to open the configuration settings.

 

 

  1. Choose the Type (Branch, Item, or Customer) and the Language for display.

 

Step 2: Select Unicode Type  

Users must choose where to apply Unicode:

  • Branch – Display branch names in multiple languages.

  • Item – Print item descriptions or labels in the selected language.

  • Customer – Store and display customer details in different languages.

Choosing the correct type ensures proper Unicode conversion.

Step 3: Choose a Language  

Select the required language for text display. TruePOS supports multiple languages, allowing businesses to choose the most suitable option.

 

Step 4: Enter Text for Conversion  

  1. In the Unicode Column, type the text that needs conversion.

  2. Ensure that the selected type and language settings match the intended purpose.

  3. Double-check the input before proceeding.

 

Step 5: Convert and Save  

  1. Press the Space Key after entering the text to trigger the conversion.

  2. Verify the converted text.

  3. Click Update to save and apply the Unicode settings.

  4. The saved Unicode text will now be available for use in TruePOS.
