What are the steps in Weighing Scale Configuration?

Weighing Scale Configuration
Steps for configuration settings in Weighing Scale
  1. Click Tools > Configuration Manager > Barcode Printing - Weighing Scale. The BarCode Printing - Weighing Scale screen is displayed.
  2. Click Configure or press F2 to display Weighing Scale - Configuration screen.
  3. The Weighing Scale - Configuration screen is displayed.



  4. In the Weighing scale type field, enter the type of the weighing scale. For example - Mettler.
  5. In the File format field, enter the format of the file to be saved. For example - csv, xls and txt formats are allowed.
  6. In the Delimiter field, press ENTER or F2 key to select the type of the delimiter.

  7. In the End of row character field, press ENTER or F2 key to select from the following options:
    • Cr - Enter
    • Cr+Lf - Enter + Linefeed. Select Cr+Lf.
    • Lf - Linefeed
  8. In the Save with field caption field, press ENTER or F2 key to select from the below options:
    • Yes - to save the file with field caption. Select Yes.
    • No - to save the file without field caption
  9. In the Status field, press ENTER or F2 key to select from the below options:
    • Active - Weighing scale is active. Select Active.
    • Inactive - Weighing scale in inactive
  10. In the Output path and file name field, press ENTER or F2 key. A new window Enter output file name with path is displayed.
    • In the File name field, enter the file name. For example - Barcode.csv
    • In the Save as type field, select the type of field. For example - All Files (*.*), .csv, etc.
    • Click Save.



  11. In the Description field, press ENTER. The Select Description po-up screen is displayed, select the description.
  12. The field Range From and Range To is automatically displayed based on the Description.



  13. In the Value field, press ENTER. The Select Value pop-up screen is displayed, select the value.



  14. Click Save or press F6 to save the changes.
  15. A message Do you want to save the transaction is displayed. Click Yes.



  16. A message Data Updated Successfully is displayed. Press ESC or CTRL + ENTER to close the screen.

Steps for Creating New Data Transfer Descriptiion
  1. In the Weighing scale - Configuration screen, click New Desc or press F4 to display Data Transfer Descriptiion screen.



  2. The Data Transfer Descriptiion screen is displayed.



  3. In the Creating new record section
    • The Code field is automatically generated displays the code.
    • In the Description field, enter the name/description of data transfer.
    • In the Character field, press ENTER. A list of the following options are displayed
      • Character - to set the description as character. Select Character.
      • Integer - to set the description as integer.
      • Money - to set the description as money.
    • In the Range From field, enter the starting value of description.
    • In the Range To field, enter the end value of description.
  4. Click Save or press F6 to save the changes.
  5. A message Do you wish to save is displayed. Click Yes.



  6. A message Please Note the Code << Code Number >> is displayed. Click OK.
