Outlet’s Layout – Centralized Layout Management
The Outlet’s Layout option in Centralized Layout Management allows you to load an existing outlet’s layout and use it as a base to create and apply a new layout across selected outlets.
This option is useful when:
One outlet already has an ideal layout configuration.
You want to standardize screen layouts across multiple outlets.
You want to avoid creating layouts from scratch, saving time and effort.
This section explains the Outlet’s Layout process in Centralized Layout Management.
Click the Load Type drop-down and select Outlet’s Layout.
Select the required outlet name from which you want to copy the layout settings.
Click the Load button.
Select the required screen from the screen list.
Enable or disable the Show/Hide checkbox according to your needs.
Click the Up or Down arrow to move the column names up or down as required.
Click the Left or Right arrow to move the report view left or right and review the changes.
Click the Save as New button once all the required changes are completed.
Enter the name for the new group in the provided field.
Click the Create a new group button.
A confirmation popup will appear on your screen, indicating that the action has been completed successfully.
You can merge the configuration with an existing group, then save the changes you have made.
Click the Merge button.
Select the group with which you want to merge the existing group.
Click the Merge button.
After clicking the Merge button, a confirmation popup will appear on your screen.
Note: This option is applicable only during standalone-to-HQ upgrades, where an existing outlet is available. In such cases, the existing outlet’s layout data can be used as the base configuration in HQ.
