Outlet Format Master [HQ]
Some businesses need to keep specific types of items at certain outlets. For example, a hypermarket might sell fruits and vegetables only at Outlet A, while Outlet B sells only groceries. This means there’s no need to display fruits and vegetables at the grocery outlet.
To manage this effectively, you can use the Outlet Format Master feature. This tool helps you keep track of items based on each outlet’s needs. By using this feature, you can improve inventory management and better serve your customers. Follow the steps below to get started:
Navigate to MDM > Shop Master > Outlet Format Master.
Click Add button.
Add the name in the Outlet Format Name field.
The nature of the business should be either DC (Distribution Center) or Retail. If it is a warehouse, select DC.
The status should be marked as Active if you need to apply for the outlet format master.
For Vertical vs Category Mapping, you can either choose All Categories to apply to all or select specific categories to apply selectively in the outlet format master.
Click Save to apply your changes.

Once created, the outlet format masters will appear as shown in the screenshot below.
Note: The outlet format master name must be mapped in Admin > Outlet Info for the respective outlet. Send the outlet information once to apply this in the outlet, as seen below.
