New Item Category Image Mapping (Item-Wise Image Mapping)
The New Item Category Image Mapping (also known as Item-Wise Image Mapping) feature in Gofrugal HQ allows Head Office (HQ) users to associate images with items centrally.
Once mapped, these images are:
Transmitted to outlets
Synced through the system
Previewed on transaction screens, such as Sales and Purchase
This improves product visibility and enhances the user experience at the outlet POS.
Key Notes
Matrix Item support for image mapping is only available for the textile sector.
The CSDS Backup Interval must be enabled to ensure proper image synchronization from HQ to outlets.

Next Step
Now, let's see how to associate images with items in HQ, step by step.
Open HQ and navigate to MDM > Item Master Management > New Item Category Image Mapping.
Select the required Category from the list to proceed with the image mapping configuration.
Select the required Category Value from the list to filter and load the corresponding items for image mapping.
Click the Apply button to load the items based on the selected filters.
Click the Choose File button to browse and select the image file you want to associate with the item.
Select the required image file for the item, then click the Open button to upload and attach it.
Click the Upload button to upload the selected image.
Note: After successful upload:
The image status will change from “Not Mapped” to “Mapped”.
A confirmation popup will appear stating “Image Uploaded Successfully”.
Click the Send Outlet button to transmit the image mapping from HQ to the outlets.
Click the Send All to Outlet button to push the image mapping to all outlets.
Select the required outlets from the list to which the image mapping should be sent.
Select the required items for which you want to send the image mapping to the outlets.
Click the Send Outlet button to send the selected images to the chosen outlets.
Now, let's verify whether the mapped images are displayed in the outlet POS after synchronization.
Open Nettrade and click Reports > Received Transactions.
Verify whether the Item Image Mapping option is available and visible in the outlet POS.
Navigate to Inventory > Masters > Items.
Click the F5 (View) button and select the same item for which the image was uploaded.
Check the Image section on the right to verify that the mapped image is displayed correctly.
Open the Purchase Entry screen at the outlet POS and load the same item.
Verify whether the mapped image is displayed for the item on the screen, confirming that the image synchronization from HQ has been completed successfully.
Open the Sales screen at the outlet POS and load the same item.
Verify whether the mapped image is displayed for the item, ensuring that the image synchronization from HQ is functioning correctly in both purchase and sales transactions.
