Easy print Tool Troubleshoot

Easy print tool is an essential requirement which allows you to print the document and invoices in Truepos through any printers. EasyPrint simplifies printing by applying the print formats like paper size, printer type and the print content automatically to print invoices. The Easy print application must be installed in your system in order to print any invoices. 

 Easy Print FAQ :

1) Error in printing 'Please check your print service running or not'

Step 1 : Go To My Computer -> Local Disk C: -> Program files -> Raymedi Easy print -> Print Sync. Run the print sync application.

Step 2 : After running the print sync application, you will be able to find a Green color Tick icon in the taskbar below. Now you can print and check. 


2) While installing print tool, below error will occur for Windows 10 users who install print tool for the First time


 

For Enabling DotNet Framework : Go to Control Panel --> Select Program and Features --> Turn Windows features on or off --> Enable the Microsoft .Net Framework and save the changes.

Windows Compatibility Issue : After Enable the .Net will get the below compatibility issue. 

Step 1: Right click the Raymedi tool, below screen will appear in that select the Compatibility option.

Step 2: Enable the Checkbox in Run this Program in Compatibility mode for Windows 7.

Step 3: Press the Apply option to Save the changes.

 Note : After complete the above two changes, Run the Raymedi setup for Installation. 

 


3) What to do if print sync is disappearing everytime after restarting the system?

Step 1: Go to start button and type RUN and enter the command shell:startup

Step 3: Go to C folder->Program files->Raymedi Easy print and copy the print sync tool

Step 4: Paste the PrintSync tool in Startup path.

Note - After doing the above mentioned process, Restart the system and check

4) Why printsync should be added in DEP 

Print application should be added in DEP for the below listed cases :
  • Profile mapping screen windows empty 
  • Design page is not opening 
  • Print sync tool Won't open 
  • Print preview won't show 
  • In design screen if none of the function or button is working
  • In profile mapping screen, open design icon wont show 
  • Getting Error Message as "Print tool already running".
 Process to add print sync in DEP :
Step 1: Go To computer properties and click on Advanced system settings

Step 3: Click on Data Execution Prevention and click  Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select

Step 4: Click on Add to browse the file and select print sync and New preprinting applications. Click on apply and OK button.

Note: Once the process is done,  Restart the system.


5) What to do when giving print online default print is opening?

Step 1: Go to Tools->Configuration->Business Configuration

Step 2: Disable the configuration -Enable default online print for Sales Bill/Sales Order.


6) Printer name not listed in printer settings

Step 1: Go to  Start button and enter RegEdit
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows

Step 2: Click on Advanced and select the Settings

Registry editor window will open. Follow the below path 

 

Right click on Windows -> Go to Permission.

  •      Select Everyone then select all.

  •      In case Everyone not listed follow step 2

Step 2 : Click the add button and Type Everyone in the object name field then click the Check Names. Then click OK add everyone in the permission screen

Step 3 : After giving permission , please restart the system and verify now the Printer name will be listed in the Easy Print.



7) While giving print from Sale bill, getting the error "Email setting improper"

This error occurs if in print tool, Email settings are enabled but mail server configurations are not done. In order to handle this case,
1) The Email settings need to be disabled (Open the design page -> Load the sale bill profile -> Tool -> PDF -> Disable the "Write to pdf file" and "Pdf sent to mail" options.)

(or)
2) Complete the mail server configuration settings. Refer the link Mail Server Configuration  on how to configure mail server. 


8) In the printed invoice, Logo and border is not getting printed and not visible

When mapping the printer to the print tool, the printer type need to be mapped as "Laser printer( A4)/Therma receipt printer(3 inch)" instead of normal printer. Refer the help video Click here to learn  to map the printer. After mapping the correct printer type, Give print from Truepos and verify. 

9) After Saving the sales bill, While giving the Print. If we get "Error in Printing please check your print service running or not". list the steps to be followed if we use the System under the Windows OS?

10)  After Saving the sales bill, While giving the Print. If we get "Error in Printing please check your print service running or not". list the steps to be followed if we use the System under the MAC OS?

Solution :  Search "Raymedi Easy Print JE" Folder and Open the Raymedi Easy Print JE Folder and Click Bin folder and Run the "Print.command" file which is available in the Bin folder. You will get Process Completed Message. Then try to print the invoices.

11) After giving the print, it is redirecting to print preview page. I need direct print only and is there any option for the same?

Solution : If you don't want the print preview page. Kindly disable the "Print preview set as default" option which is available in the Easy Print tool window and click "Save Configure" and you will get an message stating "Setting updated" . Kindly refer the below screen shots for the same.
