In this page you will find the step by step procedures on how to create a new app in your playconsole to upload the rebranded Gofrugal OrderEasy app

1. Getting started with App creation in the Play Console 

Step 1: Once Play-console account creation and identity verification is done then, login to your play console using the admin mail Id. 

Step 2: After Logging in, the accounts linked to the console account will be displayed. Select the respective account 

Step 3 : Click on the All Apps tab and select Create App

Step 4: Enter the App name and the type as App and choose Free and apply the declaration and create the app

2. Uploading privacy policy and updating demo login details 

Step 1: After creating the app you will see the account in the All Apps section and Click on the app name

Step 2: After entering into the account, in dashboard, you need to setup your app and click set Privacy Policy.

Step 3: After clicking Privacy policy Page, enter your privacy policy link mentioned below and save. Now go back to the Dashboard menu

Step 4: Now click on App Access

Step 5: Click all or some functionality is restricted and click add instruction, a new page will be open for adding the instructions

Step 6 : Enter the details as mentioned below

1. Instruction name : Location based application

2. User name: 9659343261

3. Password : use OTP as 12345

4. Add instruction as

          1. Enter the mobile number 9659343261 and email is optional.
          2. Enter OTP as 12345.
          3. App will allow the user to order the item near by the store location. To order the item app current location should be near by shop location.

5. After entering the instructions, select the check box - No other information is required to access my app

3. Uploading App content 

Step 1 : Now click on the Ads option

Step 2: Select "No my app does not contain ads option" and save. Go back to the Dashboard 

Step 3 : Click on Content rating 

Step 4: Now click on start questionnaire

Step 5 : Enter your contact mail ID and select the "All other apps menu" option. Click next you will be redirected to all other app type page.

Step 6 : In All other app types, select "No" to all the options and click save

Step 7: Once saved, click on next and you will be redirected to summary page

Step 8 : In Summary page click Save and go to the Dashboard

 4. Setting up App preferences & Target Audiences

Step 1 : Click Target Audience

Step 2 : Select 18 and over in the Target age and click next & you will be redirected to the store presence page

 

Step 3: In store Presence page select "No" & click Next. Now you will be redirected to the summary page

Step 4: Click save in the summary Page and go to the Dashboard

Step 6: Select No & Save and goto dashboard

Step 7: After news app Click Covid-19 contact tracing and status apps

Step 8 : Select My app is not a publicly available COVID-19 contact tracing or status app & save. Go to Dashboard

5. Updating data collection & security details for the application

Step 1 : Click on data safety

Step 2: Click next in the overview page & you will be redirected to the Data collection and security page

Step 3: In the Data Collection and Security Page ,Click Yes for "Does your app collect user data and for app encrypted in transit" and scroll down

Now select "Other" and enter Mobile Number. Then Copy the PWA url & paste it in the Play console under Delete Account URL and Click Next

Step 4: In Data types under Location click Precise location

Step 5: In Personal Info Select Phone Number

Step 6: In Devices and Other IDs, select Device or other IDs and Click Next

Step 7: Under Personal Info Click Arrow

Step 8 : Select the Following things as mentioned

Is this data collected, shared, or both? -- Collected
Is this data processed ephemerally? -- No, this collected data is not processed ephemerally
Is this data required for your app, or can users choose whether it's collected? -- Data collection is required

Step 9: For Why is the user data is collected -- select App Functionality and click Save

Step 10: Select the arrow under the location

Step 11 :  Select the Following things as mentioned

Is this data collected, shared, or both? -- Collected
Is this data processed ephemerally? -- No, this collected data is not processed ephemerally
Is this data required for your app, or can users choose whether it's collected? -- Users can choose whether this data is collected

Step 12: For Why is the user data is collected -- select App Functionality and click Save

Step 13 :  Under Devices or other IDs and Click Arrow

Step 14 : Select the Following things as mentioned

Is this data collected, shared, or both? -- Collected
Is this data processed ephemerally? -- No, this collected data is not processed ephemerally
Is this data required for your app, or can users choose whether it's collected? -- Data collection is required

Step 15: For "Why is the user data is collected -- select App Functionality and click Save"

Step 16: After completing the all the steps click next

Step 17: In Preview page click Save  and come to dashboard

Step 18: After Data safety, click Government apps

Step 19: Select no and save

6. Updating app details and uploading app screenshots for playstore

Step 1: Go to Dashboard, click Select an app category and provide contact details

Step 2: Click Edit, an app category page will open to edit the category

Step 3: select App Or game as app and category as Business

Step 4: click Edit, a page will open to edit store listing contact details

Step 5: Enter the Your Email Address given below and save it.

Step 6  : Once saved, go to Dashboard

Step 7: Select Set up your Store Listing

Step 8: In Main store listing Enter Your App Name, Short Description and the long description of the app .  

Step 9: Add The App Icon (512 x 512 size ) and  feature graphic( 1024 x 500 size) and add the mobile app screenshot to be displayed in the playstore and save

Step 10 : After Saving main store listing, click Production

7. Creating initial app release & submitting for review 

Step 1: In Production and select countries and click add countries

Step 2 :  Select the countries which you needed

Step 3 : After selecting the country, click on save. Now click on "Create New Release"

Step 4 : After entering into the release page, upload the .aab file*

Step 5: After Uploading the aab file, enter the release notes which we have given 

Step 7: Click Save

Step 8: You will get an alert and click on Go to overview

Step 9: Click send changes for review

Step 10 : In Release Over View Page, the status will be "In review" if successfully send
