What are the steps to integrate GOFRUGAL Alerts with OrderEasy to send registration OTP SMS?

Engaging with your customers is a critical aspect when you are running an e-commerce business. 


With GOFRUGAL OrderEasy, you can send an OTP to your customers with your own Brand Name (Sender ID) during the registration process.


How to configure GOFRUGAL Alert Service with GOFURGAL OrderEasy to send customers an OTP for registering on the app?


Step 1:

In order to send registration OTP to your customers with your brand name, you need to subscribe to GOFRUGAL Alert Services (GOFRUGAL SMS services) & buy an SMS Pack.
Note: It can be Integrated & configured with third-party SMS services as well.



Step 2:

Next, you must register your sender ID with GOFRUGAL as well as with TRAI. The relevant forms can be downloaded from Alert Portal. Login into GOFRUGAL Alert Portal, click on the 'Whitelisting' from the main menu bar, then click on 'Request Whitelisting', enter the desired brand name & download the forms. These forms can be filled, Scan & then uploaded on the same screen.

Further, as per the TRAI's new regulation, you must complete the DLT Registration Process with cellular operators.

 

Step 3:

Now you just need to integrate GOFRUGAL Alert Portal with GOFRUGAL OrderEasy via Integration portal,

 

i) Login into the integration portal. Go to... Configuration -> OrderEasy app configuration -> SMS configuration.


 


 

ii) Once the first two steps are done i.e Buying an alert SMS pack and sender ID registration process. A Small Pop-up window will appear in front of you, enter the email ID used for GOFRUGAL Alert Configuration & then click on the 'Integrate' button.

Now, every time any customer will install & place an order with the app they will have to the register with their mobile number & the OTP for registration will be sent from your Alert account & with your Sender ID (Brand name).


How to create your own customized template of your OTP SMS?

 

i) Go to the GOFRUGAL Alert Service portal link & login with given credentials,

ii) From the Main menu bar click on Configuration -> Customer Template

iii) Scroll & search for OTP in the 'SMS Category Name' column to view its default pre-defined message content.

iv) Further,

a) To view its default pre-defined message content or to create your own customized OTP SMS template click on the pencil icon in the 'Edit' column.
b) Click on the 'Customized Content' radio button to create your own personalized SMS content.
c) Now type in your custom OTP SMS content in the given text-box, using the keys on the side to get the system generated values (160 character limit).
d) click on the 'Save' to save the changes.
