Issuing Loyalty Cards – Overview  

A Loyalty Card is issued to customers at an outlet to reward repeat purchases. Customers earn loyalty points on eligible transactions and can later redeem those points against purchases.

Note: A single customer can be issued multiple loyalty cards.

Issuing Loyalty Cards in RetailEasy 7  

To issue a loyalty card at the outlet:

  1. Navigate to Customer > Loyalty Management > Sell customer loyalty card.

  1. Select the required Customer Name, Card Name, and enter the Card Number in the respective fields.

  1. Press Enter in the Card Category field to select the required option.

  • Chargeable – The loyalty card will be sold to the customer.

  • Complementary – The loyalty card will be issued free of cost.

In this example, Chargeable is selected.

  1. Select the required Card Type and set the appropriate Status.

  2. Press F6 (Save) to proceed.

  3. Select the required Tender Type and enter the corresponding Amount.

  4. Click Save to complete the process.

Note : If Card Category is selected as Complementary, the system will not prompt for any tender details. The record will be saved directly and updated automatically.

 

 

 

 

 

Issuing Loyalty Cards in RetailEasy6  

This section explains how to issue loyalty cards in RetailEasy6.

 

To issue a loyalty card:

  1. Navigate to Sales > Loyalty & Schemes > Loyalty Card Issue / Sales.

  1. Enter the required Customer Name, Card Name, Card Number, Card Category, and Status.

  2. Click Save or press F6 to save the entry.

  1. Select the required Tender Type, enter the applicable amount if prompted, and click Done to complete the transaction.

Note  : If card-based loyalty is not enabled, the following pop-up message will appear.

  1. To enable this configuration, navigate to Tools > Configuration > Configuration.

  

  1. Select the checkbox next to Calculate Loyalty Schemes to activate the option.

 

Summary:

The Issuing Loyalty Cards process allows you to register and activate loyalty cards for customers directly from the system. During issuance, you must enter customer details, card information, category, and status.

If the card category is set to Chargeable, the system will prompt for tender selection before completing the transaction. If the category is set to Complementary, the card will be issued without tender details.

Proper configuration of loyalty settings, including enabling card-based loyalty and calculating loyalty schemes, is required to ensure smooth processing.
