Articles - Sales Trend By Periods

The Eye helps you visualise sales in the context of product availability by date and by periods (weeks, fortnight and month).

The daily sales trend is available as a calendar heat map on the article wall and the article flash card. Hover on a particular date to view more details in a popup. If a particular date has witnessed a stock-out, the date is bordered in red and the popup on mouse-over has the stock-out reason as shown in the screenshot.

Period-wise sales trend is available on the article flash card. The tooltip has grouped information that will help you view the context of any week with its fortnight and month and vice-versa. Every group is so set up that you see sales along with corresponding product inventory availability. The thin line at the start of every group is the availability indicator. A green full line denoted very good availability. The colour of the availability line takes shades of red and its height reduces as stock-out occurs.

Keep in mind - that only if stock is available will sales register, hence a sales trend can only be trusted if availability is high. The Eye's internal algorithms compensate effects of stockouts (in steps) for factoring in forecasting. Sales trend analysis is also available at the store dimension.
