How to configure barcode print profile

Barcode Profile Configuration
The Barcode Profile is configured based on the followings:
  • Weight - Based on the weight of the items.
  • Count - Based on the quantity/unit of the items.
Steps for Scanning the Items - Based on the Weight
  1. Click Tools > Configuration Manager > Barcode Printing - Weighing Scale. The BarCode Printing - Weighing Scale screen is displayed.
  2. Click Configure or press F2 to display Weighing scale - Configuration screen.
  3. The Weighing scale - Configuration screen is displayed. Click Config or press F11 to display WeighingScale screen.



  4. The WeighingScale screen is displayed.



    For Example: An Item with the following Barcode Weighing code has below mentioned fields: 



  5. In the Screen Configuration section -
    • For Prefix
      • In the Weighable Prefix field, enter the prefix for weight in the barcode print. For example - W, the barcode starts with W.
      • In the Wt-Prefix Position field, enter the prefix position of the weight in the barcode print. For example - 1.
      • In the Wt-Prefix Width field, enter the prefix width of the weight in barcode print. For example - 1.
    • For Item Code
      • In the Wt-ItemCode Position field, enter the position of the item code in barcode print. For example - 2.
      • In the Wt-ItemCode Width field, enter the width of the item code in the barcode print. For example - 4.
    • For Weight
      • In the Wt-Weight Position field, enter the position of the weight in the barcode print. For example - 6.
      • In the Wt-Weight Width field, enter the width of the weight in the barcode print. For example - 5.
      • In the Wt-Weight Precision field, enter the precision (number of decimals for accuracy) for weight in the barcode print. For example - 3.
    • For Amount
      • In the Wt-Amount Position field, enter the position of amount in the barcode print. For Example - 11.
      • In the Wt-Amount Width field, enter the width of the amount in the barcode print. For example - 6.
      • In the Wt-Amount Precision field, enter the precision (number of decimals for accuracy) for amount in the barcode print. For example - 2.
    • In the Wt-TotalWidth field, enter the total width of the barcode print. For Example - 16.
    Note: Barcode Profile For Rate can be configure based on the rate of the items.



    • For Rate
      • In the Wt-Rate Position field, enter the position of rate in the barcode print. For Example - 11.
      • In the Wt-Rate Width field, enter the width of the rate in the barcode print. For example - 6.
      • In the Wt-Rate Precision field, enter the precision (number of decimals for accuracy) for rate in the barcode print. For example - 2.
    Note: Please put the zero values For Amount field to avoid the conflicts between the fields.
  6. Click OK.

Steps for Barcode Profile Configuration - Based on the Count (Quantity/Units)
  1. Please follow the steps 1 to 3 of Barcode Profile Configuration - Based on the Weight.



  2. In the Screen Configuration section
    • For Prefix
      • In the Unit Prefix field, enter the prefix for unit count in the barcode print. For example - P, the barcode starts with P.
      • In the Unit-Prefix Position field, enter the prefix position of the unit count in the barcode print. For example - 1.
      • In the Unit-Prefix Width field, enter the prefix width of the unit count in barcode print. For example - 1.
    • For Item Code
      • In the Unit-ItemCode Position field, enter the position of the item code in barcode print. For example - 2.
      • In the Unit-ItemCode Width field, enter the width of the item code in the barcode print. For example - 4.
    • For Weight
      • In the Unit-Qty Position field, enter the position of the weight in the barcode print. For example - 6.
      • In the Unit-Qty Width field, enter the width of the weight in the barcode print. For example - 4.
      • In the Unit-Qty Precision field, enter the precision (number of decimals for accuracy) for weight in the barcode print. For example - 0.
    • For Amount
      • In the Unit-Amount Position field, enter the position of amount in the barcode print. For Example - 10.
      • In the Unit-Amount Width field, enter the width of the amount in the barcode print. For example - 6.
      • In the Unit-Amount Precision field, enter the precision (number of decimals for accuracy) for amount in the barcode print. For example - 2.
    • In the Unit-TotalWidth field, enter the total width of the barcode print. For Example - 15.
    Note: Barcode Profile For Rate can be configure based on the rate of the items



    • For Rate
      • In the Unit-Rate Position field, enter the position of rate in the barcode print. For Example - 10.
      • In the Unit-Rate Width field, enter the width of the rate in the barcode print. For example - 6.
      • In the Unit-Rate Precision field, enter the precision (number of decimals for accuracy) for rate in the barcode print. For example - 2.
    Note: Please put the zero values For Amount field to avoid the conflicts between the fields.
  3. Click OK.
