How to confgure Weighing Scale ?

Configuration settings in Weighing scale screen

1. Click Inventory >> Barcode >> Weighing scale-configuration to open the Weighing scale-configuration screen.

   
2. In the Weighing scale type field, enter the type of the weighing scale.
3. In the File format field, enter the format of the file to be saved. csv, xls and txt formats are allowed.
4. In the Delimiter field, press ENTER or F2 key to select the type of the delimiter.
  • , - applicable for .csv file
  • Tab - applicable for .xls file
5. In the End of row character field, press ENTER or F2 key to select from the below options:
  • Cr - Enter
  • Cr+Lf - Enter + Linefeed
  • Lf - Linefeed

6. In the Save with field caption field, press ENTER or F2 key to select from the below options:

  • Yes - to save the file with field caption
  • No - to save the file without field caption

7. In the Status field, press ENTER or F2 key to select from the below options:

  • Active - Weighing scale is active
  • Inactive - Weighing scale in inactive

8. In the Output path and file name field, press ENTER or F2 key to select the path and enter the output file name.

 

9. In the Description field, press ENTER to select the description.

10. In the Range From and Range To fields, the values are automatically loaded on selecting the description.

 

11. In the Value field, press ENTER to select the value.

12. Press F6 to save the data.

Adding new descriptions to the Description list

Use the Data Transfer Description screen to add new descriptions other than those provided default.

1. In the Weighing scale-configuration screen, press F4 key [New Desc] to open the Data Transfer Description screen.

2. In the Description field, enter the name of the description.

3. In the Data Type field, press F2 to select from the below options:

  • Character
  • Integer
  • Money

4. In the Range From and Range To fields, enter the values.

5. Press F6 key to save the new description and it is added in the description list.
