Item Conversion Price Bulk Update [HQ]

Item Conversion Price Bulk Update - Overview

The Item Conversion Price Bulk Update feature in Gofrugal HQ enables businesses to update prices for items with multiple conversion units in a fast and structured manner. Instead of manually editing each item’s conversion price individually, this tool allows for a streamlined bulk update process.

Key Purpose

  • Consistency: Ensures all conversion units (e.g., box, carton, dozen, piece) are updated with accurate prices in one step.

  • Efficiency: Saves time by eliminating repetitive manual updates across large item lists.

  • Accuracy: Reduces human error when handling complex conversion ratios.

Business Benefits

  • Retail & Distribution: Maintains consistent pricing across different packaging sizes.

  • Restaurants & Recipe Management: Ensures raw material conversions (e.g., kg to grams, liters to ml) are priced correctly.

  • Wholesale Operations: Simplifies bulk pricing updates when suppliers revise costs.

Steps to Perform Bulk Update:

  1. Navigate to BPM > Recipe Management > Item Conversion Price Bulk Update.

  1. Find the Outlet dropdown at the top of the page.

  2. Click the dropdown list to view all available outlets.

  3. Select the outlet where you want the bulk update to be applied.

  4. Ensure the chosen outlet is displayed in the dropdown before proceeding.

  5. On the Bulk Update screen, locate and click the Item dropdown to view the list of available items.

  6. Choose the required items from the dropdown. Multiple items can be selected at once for bulk updates.

  7. After selecting the items, click the Apply button.

  1. Find the columns labeled UoM Price and UoM Online Price.

  2. Input the price for the selected unit of measure (UoM).

  3. Input the price that will be displayed and used for online transactions.

  4. After entering both prices, click Save & Send to confirm the update.

  1. A popup will appear confirming that the data has been sent to the selected outlets.

The message ensures that your changes are being processed and applied.

Best Practices

  • Cross-check supplier price lists before updating.

  • Use filters (e.g., category, brand) to quickly locate items.

  • Perform updates during non-peak hours to avoid disruption.

  • Export a backup list of current prices before making bulk changes.

Example Scenario

  • Supplier revises the price of a 1 kg rice bag.

  • You update the conversion price for 1 kg, and the system automatically adjusts the price for 500 g and 100 g units.
